My First oops!

Well it happened sooner than I would have liked but I had my first oops!

Yesterday was a busy day for me and although a usual Saturday for most for me it was a test of my strength, determination and anxiety levels.

I am a self confessed loner, but I do try to socialise. Honest I do.

So yesterday I got up had a banana for breakfast and took my now life long meds (blood thinners).

Then I had to get ready for my first test. I was meeting a good friend for coffee and a chat. Easy YES! NO! I had to drive to a place I had not driven too before - but hey I successfully accomplished this and arrived 15 minutes early, Not to worry I knew I would, I kind of planned it so I could distress before said friend arrived. I took a book to read to help.

We spent a lovely hour and half catching up before I had to leave to my second arrangement all heavenly halo intact as I only had a black coffee.

Another friend owns a wool shop and as it was national Yarn shop day I promised I would go to see her, which meant driving across the city and spending an hour with her which was rather pleasant and then I had to get home to pack and drive down to Looe in Cornwall where our caravan is and we planned a couple of days down there. whilst driving home I realised I had a headache coming on, and as soon as I got in the door I grabbed a drink and a piece of bread and butter as hubby was ready to go ( I hate being rushed and have since realised I left my chargers for my fit bit, forerunner and Ipod shuffle at home so plans of tracking fitness levels may be harder than planned this week).

When we got to the caravan I realised I was feeling quite ill and completely exhausted, gave myself a little telling off as I had not eaten much and ran and packed a lot in for me. That was when I discovered we should have gone shopping before coming to the van so ended up with a crisp sandwhich for lunch and when I suggested shopping to hubby it was rewarded with "no we will do it tomorrow, tonight we have fish and chips."     AAAAAARRRRRGH. Fail to plan - plan to fail.

But I did not have my daily choc bar (99 calories) to limit any further sabotage LOL!

Today has started well and I have had my 3rd run of week 1 of C25k and dare I say it, it was slightly easier than the previous two days and it is only 9am.
